Privacy policy

WorldTVRadio has no user accounts and does not ask you to register. This page describes the little data that is handled when you use the site.

Stored in your browser

When you choose a time zone from the "Times in" selector, that preference is saved in your browser's local storage under the key wtvr:tz so the site can show times the same way on your next visit. It never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

Server logs and security

Like every website, our servers and our content delivery network record standard request data (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security, abuse prevention and capacity planning. These logs are kept for a limited period and are not used to build profiles.

Contact form

If you report a listing through the listings desk form, the message and the email address you provide are used only to investigate and reply to your report.

Third parties

• Team badges and channel marks are loaded from third-party image servers, and web fonts from Google Fonts. Those providers receive your IP address when the assets load.
• The site may use privacy-respecting analytics and advertising partners. Where a partner sets cookies, a notice is shown and the relevant policy is linked from it.

Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about a contact-form submission, or ask for it to be deleted, by writing to the listings desk through the contact page.
