Boudir TV

The idea of Boudir Television arises from mythology, literature, theatre and sometimes even poetry. In its literal sense, the work boudoir refers to a small room within a house which has been converted from a bedroom or a dining room. In the world of architecture, this symbolizes the many steps that man has passed through in an effort to bring evolutions into existing architectural systems.

In terms of mythology, Boudoir Television would best hint at the transformation taking place in terms of gender relations. These changes are such that they end up affecting the person’s way of thinking. The more intimate the shows that are presented in the shows, the clearer the imagery depicted.

The reasons for the station to adopt such a name would therefore be manifold. For instance, films aired in the station should be in such a way that they reinforce the philosophical connotations that describe the situations that are best describes through the use of the word boudoir. True to this call, Boudoir TV airs programs that most of the time present light-tone speeches and dialogues. Towards this end, the name of the station seems to perfectly fit in with the theme it is trying to pass across.

Boudoir TV also invokes many educational connotations relating to the world of literature. Although Boudoir is a French word, today it has been popularized though television and it is now used the world over.  Sometimes it is used to describe places, as in Turkish mythology. At other times, it is used to describe certain types of English diplomacy.

As if these usages are not enough to create associations with boudoir TV. There is The Boudoir, a television Zik, whereby Corneille, a singer has created very many animations. Lastly, the world has entered into the world of brands, including perfumes. No wonder Boudoir TV shares the same name as a restaurant that is located in Rhine.
